International Youth Festival
Erik performed compositions recorded together with the band Therr Maitz on the main stage of the International Youth Festival (Yekaterinburg, September 2026). A huge arena, orchestra, choir and dancers — and a live frame drum broadcast on Channel One Russia.

“DÖR”
Composer. The production received 5 Golden Mask nominations (2023), including a personal nomination for Best Work of a Composer in Musical Theatre. Performed at the Musical Theatre of the Republic of Karelia (at the theatre’s invitation), in Moscow at the Golden Mask festival and at GES-2.
“Sak-Sok”
Music and live accompaniment. Audience Award at the international festival Context. Diana Vishneva (2020), Golden Mask long list (2022). Also featured at the OPEN LOOK festival (Alexandrinsky Theatre, St Petersburg). The album is available on streaming platforms.

“Wild Child”
Composer and the only live musician in the production by choreographer Marat Kazikhanov. Grand Prix of the Klyuchi experimental dance festival (Gorky Moscow Art Theatre, 2021).

“Chabata” — a Tatar-Spanish performance
A project with choreographer Gulsina Galimullina and dancer Alsu Magsumzyanova: the Tatar folk dance “Chabata” meets flamenco, to live music: percussion, guitar and accordion. Premiered in June 2021 on the Kaban Lake embankment in Kazan as part of the city project “Khärәkәttә — bärәkәt”. The performance became popular and was recently staged again at the Sälät camp. Another joint work — a performance based on the Tatar dance “Yarmәk vagy”.
“Ak Tash” — The White Stone
A performance and light installation in the galleries next to the ancient Yuryevskaya Cave (Kamskoye Ustye, Tatarstan), August 2026, as part of the Kürshe festival. Based on the legend of Aktash: the audience follows a route and becomes part of the action. Music written and performed by Erik Markovsky. Directed by the ANGROD art group.
Battle of Bands International
A TV show on India’s national channel DD National. Erik performed with the band Beats of Love, played frame-drum solos and shared the stage with legendary Indian singers Suresh Wadkar and Raja Hasan. The music recorded in India is available on all digital platforms.
“Karakuz”
A choreographic performance by the Freestyle contemporary dance studio (Almetyevsk), inspired by the Turkic legend of the warrior Karakuz. Premiered on 4 September 2021 at the Karakuz festival, then shown at the Almetyevsk Drama Theatre. Direction and choreography by Marsel and Maria Nuriev; music by Erik Markovsky, Sugdyr Ludup and Sofia Ozcan; studio artistic director Maxim Apraksin.
